The Helmholtz are trying to plug their knowledge into political agendas through the ESKP. Factor this into your rationale for using the SDGIO to link various AWI datasets.

Perhaps I can address some of the sea ice related issues in this eskp article

As well as tackle the marine litter idea discussed here which also fits in with the goal of aligning this work with the UN SDGIO
