Fresh install and clone causes the following dialog

Version

Kactus: 0.3.14
Operating system: 10.13.6

Steps to Reproduce

Install Kactus
clone repo
experience issue

Expected Behavior

No error / crash

Actual Behavior

NA

Is the repo you try to clone open source? An EMFILE error happens when the operating system tries to open too many files

Sadly the repo is private and not open source.
