Can I pause the process?

I'm upgrading a two hours long video, and the overall estimate is that it will take about 11 days; if I need to turn off my computer during that time frame, can I stop the upgrade and restart it, or will stopping it cause me to lose all my progress so far?

Unfortunately there is no pause only stop and it loses all progress.

How to stop? While the temp file get deleted? Because mine take 12 hour to process the video. I don't have that many time.

Yes the temp file will get deleted and the stop button is right next to the start button if you're using the gui version, not sure about the console version. and you can just let your pc run overnight and while you're away at work as that's what I do.

You can pause the process in Windows by suspending the video2x.exe or video2x_gui.exe processes (or ffmpeg.exe is that's the executable being used at the moment) in Resource Manager. You can then resume the process at any time in the future.

Keep in mind that resuming will not work if you reboot the PC, but sleeping and hibernation are fine. Just the same, you cannot close video2x and it cannot be interacted with while suspended.

Still, it would be great if video2x had a Pause button that saved all progress to disk to be resumed later.
