Comi uses the scumm7-8 engine, which is slightly different to compile than the scumm0-6 engine set.

I have this partially working, video doesn't play back, and audio doesn't work, and some other stuff seems to be broken.

Add support for this.

Is there any progress on this? I know your time is rare and this project is just a side project but I would really enjoy seeing this game in action in the browser. Or could you provide some kind of a guide how I can compile it by myself (you mentioned that scumm7-8 engine is different to compile) and get to the same level as you ("I have this partially working, video doesn't play back, and audio doesn't work, and some other stuff seems to be broken"). There has not been any actual progress on the emscripten-scummvm code in a while, and it's been a very long time since I last did a build of emscripten-scummvm. However, we are working on porting SDL2 over to Emscripten, which will hopefully fix several issues that the original build had that used SDL 1.2.

The last that I tested there was that the game started up but things were just randomly broken and I did not have time to figure out what. If you are interested in hacking on this, probably first trying to reproduce one of the succeeding builds of other game demos is a good first step, and then trying to see what kind of issues come up from there when switching over to CoMI.
