Discuss the initial backlog for the stable release. #415 | @benjagm | The team configured the backlog and and the work in progress items |
One quick update from anyone who worked on roadmap related tasks. Identify Issue and progress made. We will capture it and add it to the Issue or sub-issue as appropriate. (It is not expected that everyone will always have an update every week, but it would be great!) |

Action items:
- @Relequestual to reach out to OJSF and ask if we can provide cash prizes to increase responses of the implementers survey.
- @benjagm to modify Execute the documentation strategy website#158 to include a task to remove IETF references.
Notes:
- The team discussed disabling the current ads on the mobile version of the website due to suboptimal behavior on mobile devices. Considering that the current traffic in mobile is low the expected impact on funds from ads should be low, therefore the team agreed on disabling Ads for mobile.
- @benjagm provided an update on the new website development, including the need for small fixes and the roll-out proposal to start in September and the team asked about data migration before the final release. @jdesrosiers suggested to review and remove references to IETF.
- @jdesrosiers commented the need of self hosted drafts as a relevant element to consider as part of the website launch. See #49.
- The team provided updates on their recent work related to the roadmap. They discussed topics such as URLs, the progress on the website, documentation, and the implementer strategy.
- @gregsdennis @jdesrosiers and @benjagm conducted the initial session to setup the backlog for stable-release.
- The team suggested having a link to the project on the new website so that people can see what they are working on and @benjagm mentioned that it could easily done with the content taxonomy of the new website.
