Hey, I think the ability to mark the 'severity' of tags we've hidden would be great. When a work is hidden I always find myself reading through the list of which tags caused it to be filtered out, to see if there's something in the midst of them I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole or if it's just some tags I may not mind in the given combination.

A simple approach could be the option to mark them red/orange/yellow for severe/moderate/mild, The most obvious place I see for implementing something like this would be in the tag filtering table on the extension's Options screen, where there could be an additional column with the option to manually choose between the red/orange/yellow rating for each tag, or just leaving it at default.
Then, when you open AO3 and you come across a work that was filtered (and you have 'Show reason' toggled on), it would colour the tags based on how you've marked them, letting you see at a glance if there's a red among them or it's just a few yellow ones, i.e. if the work is a hard skip or if you might want to give it a second look.

It's pretty simplistic but I imagine it could be quite effective, making it easier to sort through works and giving the extension's filtering system an extra layer of utility without overcomplicating it

Just remembered the inverted tag filters, and I think it might work quite well with them. Having those tags automatically be marked green would fit the colour scheme and also be rather practical, since you could then clearly see by the tags' colours which inverted tag(s) overrode which hidden tag(s)
