Request for GitHub organisation verification for agenda-tech-brasil-site.js.org #9491
Comments
@fabiobrasileiroo Your comment/issue doesn't include the required information (name and content of the TXT record to add). If you provide them I can add the TXT after the subdomain request was merged. |
Sorry to ask, but in my case, this text doesn't appear when I add the domain. I read the documentation and it seems like it has changed. Mine really doesn't show that—could this be a problem? Do I need to send you this generated text? |
@fabiobrasileiroo I would guess it is not possible before the CANME is working. But this is now the case #9490. Can you please try again to get the required information? |
@fabiobrasileiroo any updates? |
@indus Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but I did some research, and it seems that this TXT code is only generated when I have a custom domain. In my case, I'm using GitHub Pages with a js.org domain pointing directly to it. From what I’ve seen, it’s not possible to generate the TXT code. Is that correct? If that’s the case, I’ll just end the discussion here. 😊 |
@fabiobrasileiroo We have done this a couple of times before: https://github.com/js-org/js.org/issues?q=is%3Aissue%20state%3Aclosed%20TXT I don't see why it shouldn't work in your case. |
My subdomain PR is #9490 (if that helps to verify ownership)
I want to verify the domain for GitHub pages and organisation verified domains. Here are the following instructions from GitHub. Please let me know if adding these records are possible.
The site content is a technology events platform in Brazil called "Agenda Tech Brasil", dedicated to sharing and promoting various tech-related events, including JavaScript and other technology topics. The website was developed using JavaScript/next.js and other modern web technologies.
The idea for this project came from transforming event information that was originally listed in the repository's README file into a dynamic and user-friendly website. All event data is now stored in a db.json file within the GitHub repository https://github.com/Abacatinhos/agenda-tech-brasil, allowing for easier content management.
The main goal of this platform is to make it simple and intuitive for anyone—whether they are familiar with GitHub or not—to access and explore technology events in Brazil. This ensures that the tech community and the general public can stay informed about upcoming events in a more accessible way.
Thank you very much!
