Dear Developers,

thank you very much for maintaining this project! Thanks to you, I was finally able to build again my plugin for MacOS. Since MacOS Catalina no longer supports 32bit binaries, I had to re-compile it from source code. Besides some minor issues regarding some path names, I had no issues compiling your release version 2.1.2. You can find my build here:

https://c.1und1.de/@926526086479613353/C_peK40DRBe3FGIvQFrX5g

I tested it on a 2012 MacMini (Intel). As an addon, you can also find my "extra large database" in this folder, which also includes binaural impulse responses for headphones.

Kind regards,
Christian Borss

Hi Christian, it's great to hear from you again.

Thanks for your feedback about this. These builds are really due for an update.
When I have some time to dedicate to this, I hope to provide 64-bit and Apple M1 universal builds.

If I may ask, have you possible archived the program "tinyAVE" that is referenced in the paper?
this software has been 404 on the original source, for ever since I can remember.

Best -JPC

My binary should be a universal binary for Intel and M1 ARM, but I cannot test it since I don't have a M1 Mac.

The RIR generator "tinyAVE" was never open source. I still might have a backup of this software, but since this is part of the intellectual property of the University where I did my PhD, it is unlikely, that Prof. Martin will release it under a free and open source license. Or do you mean the webpage that describes it?
