Astro variation of the theme

Just an idea I want to discuss.

It seems that some features would be so trivial to implement in Astro, compared to Hugo. For example,

• KaTex support without client side JS - easy, several lines of configuration
• Icons - easy, either Vite plugin or Astro component (all icons from iconify)
• Mermaid without client side JS - easy, several lines of configuration
• Image optimization - built-in in Astro
• Astro components instead of Shortcodes
• etc.
