Hi there,
I really like the cleaned-up look of the theme, and that it is so well documented. First of all thanks to the developers!
My feature proposal: I would like to add some background rhythm to my sections by using vertical bars which span the whole page width. An example would be w3.org . But this is currently only possible using a "simple" page layout (if at all, I didn't try it yet). This would, however, remove the cleaned-up look (margins etc.) of the theme. The w3.org page is actually a good example how too much text destroys the look. I am thus imagining something like this page, but with the current congo default look on top.
So the idea is to add some basic HTML structure which makes it easy to add alternating background to, say, some
<section>
or<div>
tags or whatever. I'm not a web developer, so it might turn out to be very complicated given that CSS is working with nested boxes. But who knows, maybe there is a simple approach?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
