[Feature] Ability to send test email AND manually verify users

It would be nice to having a 'test' button for the email settings to verify.

I second this, really could do with a "test" email.
Also would be nice to be able to manually approve new members.

This is an old feature request but I will tackle this after I've done some other fixes, seems multiple users have issues setting up their email credentials so having a way to verify the connection works is an awesome feature to have. 👍

Having the option to manually verify members is a great idea, that could help with situations where the email didn't get delivered or wasn't sent and the member verified some other way, or if you happen to know the person.
