As reported by a winaoe user winaoe does not work on Windows 10 (aoe scan does not show any devices while it should). It is highly recommended to use something more modern for remote storage, like WinDRBD (https://github.com/LINBIT/windrbd) instead of winaoe. As of now winaoe is more or less unsupported in contrast to WinDRBD where 24/7 support contracts are available.
