Remembering whether a task was added to the top or bottom of a list. #2829

Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding! |

Still relevant. I would like this feature too... very annoying having to drag every item to the bottom after creation... I work on tasks top to bottom so new tasks should default to the bottom of the list. This could be a settings toggle or just have the up/down arrow in the task creation dialog box remember its setting. |

Yes, I believe still relevant. |
The current default behavior is to add tasks to the top of the list, while I'm used to adding them to the bottom.
Although I can currently click an icon or use a shortcut key to change it, having to do an extra action every time I add a task is a bit annoying.
I hope there could be a way to remember whether I last added a task to the top or bottom of the list.
