What are the code styling options?

What are the options to style code chunks.

In the above image, how can I remove the chunk expand/minimize button? Is there a way to get rid of the blue frame around the code?

I don't think knitrBootstrap provides any explicit options for the styling of these elements (except for the different styles offered by bootstrap_document and simple_document). You could include your own CSS to override the default settings.
