Add support to wrap text written to terminal

I would like to use Conque to send code to ipython. Because of indentation 
issues, this seems to require that I wrap the code with '%cpaste' at the 
beginning and '--' as the last line. I want to do this automagically via F9 by 
setting some kind of Conque options, but cannot figure out vimscript.
