Sylius elePHPant is not actually done yet #126
Comments
@asgrim totally fair question. That's also the case for the gold one, PHP Vegas one, etc right? Maybe we should focus the website in the trading side of things, not as an official reference for all elePHPants ever produced. |
Yep, I leave that in your capable hands. Certainly all but one people can own those one-offs, so I wonder if there is value, beyond cataloguing that they exist. Depends what you want the site to be geared towards! :) |
I think it would still be a good reference point for all of them as it's interesting to find out about proposed versions that didn't quite cross the finish line. Now that being said, perhaps we could add a "prototype" flag for Elephpants and if that's set to true, then you can't add it to your herd, trade it etc... @asgrim I know you're in the process of selling your herd (maybe that's done now!), but would still be interested to hear your thoughts on this as you started the discussion 😄 |
Seems a reasonable approach IMO! Would work for the other one-offs too. 👍 I noticed as well there are two registered of the Golden, and the Kenya one, for example. That doesn't make sense, because there is only one each of them afaik... |
It reached its funding goal 🥳 |
Hey folks, just wondering if it actually makes sense to have the Sylius elePHPant as an option at the moment? After talking to @jacquesbh it definitely won't be released in 2021, yet it says it is a 2020 elePHPant. It might arrive 2022, but it seems like it was only a prototype so far.
I suppose a related question question is: do you want to list elePHPants that were only ever prototypes?
