Does pandoc provide a bulit-in way to do equation numbering for select displaymath equations? I'm converting mkdn to pdf. If I just type
the default is no equation numbers. Is there a way to enable numbering for some displaymath equations? I notice the manual mentions native numbering, but that appears to be only for figures and tables. I didn't see anything about eqn numbering in the faq. I also browsed the wiki, but it doesn't appear to support text search within wiki pages... |

That's one approach. Alternatively you could use our syntax for numbered example lists:
The numbers will be on the left though. |
