Jenkins events on lock actions

What feature do you want to see added?

If plugin could generate Jenkins-wide events on any lock actions, that will be helpful to make complex integrations.
For example, we spin test environments in K8S cluster and lock them in pipeline. When environment is no longer needed, click on Unreserve button can produce an event which can trigger a deletion pipeline.
