Stargate says it need electricity but works without power connected. #84

Bug 1: Using channels can end up the stargates with new channels not working at all. I have seen nothing suspicious in the logs.

But 2: it says it need electricity but works without power connected.

Bug 1 - i used 1 input - 4 output, 4 output - 1 input, also had 6 different channels. no such bug.
Bug 2 - who cares? ))

Bug 1 - The mod isn't designed to work with multiple I/O. Just 1 input - 1 output. This would be an enhancement. You already opened one

You got it a little wrong i think. I mean i connected multiple to one. And one to one. Normally it works with limitations. But it happend to get corrupted after 100 turns somehow and no stargate worked at all. After reload it worked again. Not sure if its reproduce able however.

Ok it had not messages in the logs. And i am sure the gamefiles are ok.

Well the 480power need would render the stargate unusable for short and middistances guess 20 would make it universal or remove it.

I've planned to rebalance the default config of the mods.
You could use BuildingModifier to get rid of the power needs.
