I compiled the package and successfully installed it as a chrome extension. Trying to test it on pro(q)uest but as I go through the pages, I get the extension stuck on "pages will be collected as you navigate...". I checked the pop-up inspector and found this error:

"Uncaught (in promise) Error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist."

See also the screenshot below. Any idea?

I noticed that it happens with the ebook that are available for consultation as "epub". The plugin works well with the pdf tho. It's because reader for epub on proquest is a bit different than for PDFs.

I think that I hit the same bug on the same site. Unfortunately, when it comes to TypeScript my knowledge is very limited, wondering if you can have a look?
