I would like to know this also. I downloaded and ran https://github.com/bitthunder-toolchain/btdk/releases/download/btdk-0.6.1/btdk-0.6.1-windows.exe on my Windows 10 machine, but I see no obvious file to run, and no README or other documentation about the Windows Bitthunder tools.

I have Cygwin installed. Do I need that?

I'd prefer to develop on my Windows machine, but I can use a Linux machine if it would be much easier. What do you suggest?

If someone can give a list of steps to follow to set up my Windows machine and compile and download a simple demo program onto a Raspberry Pi, I'll be happy to follow the steps and edit it into a getting started guide.
