Talk about Identifiers, Authority Files & Linked Open Data at the summer school Digital Archives. Data Literacy and Presentation Strategies in Audiovisual Archives, September 9th, 2021.
Identifiers are crucial to manage data especially across databases and information systems. The talk will explain what to consider in general when referencing things in data to facilitate use and interoperability of digital archives. It will show in particular how Linked Open Data allows connection of identifiers from different domains and by different contributors.
