The one and only implementation of Jakarta NoSQL, JNoSQl, had a concept of drivers.

This driver concept (its APIs etc) is not part of the spec. It would have great value if that would be the case.

Hey @arjantijms, we do have plans for this.

The goal is to finish the spec and the TCK and release the Jakarta NoSQL 1.0.0; after that, it will be the next goal.
