Why does the c++ API not allow non-power-of-2 buffer sizes when CLI is perfectly fine with it? #978

Nevermind
I just realized that I was working with jackd1 this whole time.
I installed libjack-dev based on a forum post and didin't think about checking the related jack version.
Turns out that installing this library replaced my jackd2 package with jackd1.
Now that I'm running the correct versions it works fine:
jackd2:1.9.12~dfsg-2ubuntu2
libjack-jackd2-dev: 1.9.12~dfsg-2ubuntu2
