Package causes app to crash on iOS 15

Environment

"react-native-image-filter-kit": "^0.8.0"
"react-native": "0.67.5",

Problem

I can put together a repo sometime in the near future, but wanted to at least start some discussion around this.

In all cases that I've experimented with, using any filter from the package is crashing my app entirely when running on iOS 15. Running on iOS 16 works flawlessly.
