Currently, it's not possible to disable the scanning. There should be a button either in the application or in the app's notification to turn off the app.

Idea:
maybe something like "At home". When you are at home you are most like in safe environment and you dont have to scan and advertise itself because contact with infected people is very unlikely (except family).

When I was thinking about this, I came to the conclusion that this may not be the best way to go about it.

Reasons: When I am at home and get a parcel delivered, I want the tracing to be active should the postman turn out to be infected. However it is unlikely that I think to turn it on in this case.

I guess it would be better to allow the user to exclude the upload of certain ids that are only seen by people he does not want to see he his sick, like his neighbours. But then again: Do you really want your neighbour not to know that there is a covid infection in the house?

I would maybe add a geofence option or a disable for x hours button since probably many people would forget to enable it later on again.
