Notification indicator on tray area icon

Could a way please be added to show the user that they have notifications by looking at the try icon? For example, add a red dot to the edge of the icon when you have a ping and a blue one when you have a notification. (like how slack does it)

Yes please, that the only feature i miss most.
To add another in competition, i am currently replacing my nettalk client with yours.
If only a notification icon as indicator exists. (in nettalk i have one main icon with several overlays, anything happen, something with my nick happen, a private message happen or connectivity problems.
Please put that on ToDo list, Windows Users would love such (basic) feature!

You did a good job with current version, 0.7.2 i think, i also miss a about box with such display ;)
