Unable to use fingerprint for authentication

I am able to use my fingerprint for registration but can't use it for authentication. Any idea why? I have a few doubts in my mind. Maybe because after registering the user, I have to log them out. This is just a speculation. I still don't know how to logout a user who has logged in using webauthn. Any help would be appreciated
