threads/3758962/page/230 has broken strikethrough too

A similar thing happened with http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3758962&pagenumber=230#post464604978 because of an empty <s></s> which got turned into <s/> by mimir, but this is not valid in HTML5 (only in XHTML in XML mode).
