The bug

Hey,
This affects the mobile iOS app. When adding stacked photos to a shared album and viewing said album, the stacks in the timeline vanish, including the stacked images. So only one image remains and the rest cannot be accessed until logout / login.

Full scenario:

  • friend shares album
  • I add photos to this album
  • I stack some of the photos
  • stacks are visible as they should be
  • I switch back to the shared album at some point. Until assets are refreshed, I briefly see the stacks there as well. As soon as refresh is finished, stacks are gone in the album view (probably ok)
  • Stacks for assets in the shared album are gone from my timeline
  • Only one asset from stack remains (probably first)

This may or may not be exclusive to shared albums. I’m on a trip right now, but can check and update at a later point if necessary.

As always thanks so much for the hard work and keeping Immich as awesome as it is!
