Reduce npm dependencies #56

This small package has 153 nested dependencies.

Can we reduce this number? It looks too dangerous for performance and security reasons.

It also requires a package last updated 5 years ago (bin-build) which ends up requiring uuid@3 which generates deprecation warnings in the npm CLI.
