Option to migrate the Minimap to the Obsidian Left Sidebar. #12
Comments
Hi, appreciate the feedback! |
In fact, whatever I want is the following. Move the minimap to the right bar (optional). If the user wants, they go to settings and enable this feature. So what exactly would the feature do? I'll try to explain it clearly (I think a picture is worth a thousand words, but without drawings. :)) When enabling this feature, the minimap disappears from the canvas, and will be relocated to the right panel. [ left ] CANVAS [ right ][left] = files, bookmarks, search... |
Your explanation makes a lot of sense, and kinda makes me want to implement it. I'll try to do it in the spare time I have. Thanks for the suggestion! |
Oops! You are welcome. 🥳 |
Hello!
I would like to know if it would be possible to add the feature of migrating the minimap to the left sidebar of Obsdian.
Well, when browsing .MD notes we can browse topics H1, H2, H3, in the left bar of the program.
It would be useful if we could do the same through your minimap.
Sometimes I feel that the transparent background of the minimap blends in with the map itself, making it difficult to navigate on larger .canvas (which already have a lot of content).
And in advance, I would like to thank you for taking the time to add this feature to this fantastic add-on, as I would never have been able to use Obsidian without it.
Thanks.
