I'm new to machina and like what I've seen so far, but I'm not clear on the intended use or implied semantics of the 'timeout' member in states. Is this just a convention? Or is it related to some default behavior in the background?
I see how it is useful for demonstrations, using setTimeout() and all, but I see examples where it's just there and doesn't appear to be used. I'm not finding anything about it in the API docs, etc.
Can someone describe what its intended use is or if it is related to some non-obvious functionality in the framework?
Thanks
