About Us

It's said - "It takes two to Tango". And same applies to almost every solution. With this very thought, IEEE MSIT CS and eCell MSIT present before you <strong>Hack-o-Preneur</strong> 2018. A hackathon competition where the business model plays a crucial role for victory. And who else is more capable of judging you than some of the finest hackers and investors our country has! So, mark your weekend to code your idea, making it a business and pitch for it!

<strong>IEEE MSIT</strong> is a pragmatic society run by a young committee of extremely talented and diligent students of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. It provides a platform to impart knowledge on computers and technology through a variety of workshops, conferences and SIGs. Members are provided the privilege of interacting directly with experts from the industry and gain first hand experiences from them.

<p>
Motivated by the vision, an enthusiastic bunch of people at <strong>eCell</strong>, are working to induce an entrepreneurial mindset into the students and to air an innovative streak in them. We are here to support the aspiring entrepreneurs of the future and also to drive-in the real sense of ‘entrepreneurship’ in those, who are new to this entrancing word.

The retail banking sector could lose up to 55% of its business to fintech firms if it does not up
the ante in terms of investment in digital transformation, according to a new study titled
‘Enterprise Digital Transformation: Evaluating Indian Enterprises’, brought out jointly by
research firm Frost & Sullivan and software lobby body, Nasscom.
The report, released this month, has compared Indian companies across sectors with their
global peers in terms of digital maturity, noting that much more needs to be done and
challenges such as non-uniform connectivity, scarcity of skilled personnel etc. need to be
tackled. So, hackers should come up with a hack that can provide solution to this real-world
problem.
