until times appear to be calculated as UTC, then translated back to local time. From NYC, sending /iam here until 6 returns an expiration time of 1 PM local. NYC is currently UTC-5.

No time zone data is available from the initial slash command request, the backend would need to query the calling user's user.info in order to discover their local time zone.
