the famous browser Coc Coc browser based on chromium which is the best web browser in history and the orld because it has a rare feature a very powerful internal media downloader and allows us to download videos and playback the video while it is downloaded so no need to wait the end of download, and which is useful for old laptops where video streaming lags jerks in addition we have a weak internet connection and the majority of video streaming platforms no longer offer standard 360p video quality! so we hope please official support of this capital rare browser please, thank you so much !

and to donwload some complex streams , Cat catch need to send video to external parser like N_m3u8DL-RE which is great and updated parser , i asked Mr Nilaoda to add support of windows 7 os, it seems there is commit to support 32 bits os windows 7 but i d'ont how to find and download the excecutable beta version .....and so the most easy solution is our beloved Vxkex support this vital parser N_m3u8DL-RE please, thanks !

Could you please share some screenshots showing exactly what isn’t working in Media Downloader?

I tested Media Downloader QT6 v5.2.0 and was able to download a few videos from YouTube without any issues during my quick test.

Or are you referring to wanting it to be "officially supported," like having it included in the "What applications are supported?" list?

Yess, indeed Mr @i486 , media-downloader works perfectly without problems in my windows 7 os 32 bits, moreover Mr Mhogomchungu, following my request, added the specific support and the update of the special version of yt-dlp compiled by Mr Nicolaasjan for legacy os like windows 7 os 32 bits....

I am talking about the future, maybe the development of media-downloader for windows 7 os will become more and more difficult or even impossible, maybe Mr Mhogomchungu will decide to no longer support windows 7 os..... we do not know the future , Media -downloader has 2 versions: one for windows 7 and another for windows 10, for example if I did not ask Mr Nicolaasjan to specifically compile special yt dlp for windows 7 os 32 bits, and Mr Nicolaasjan generously agreed to do so, users of windows 7 os 32 bits would be without yt-dlp...
because Mr Nicolaasjan compiled yt-dlp only for 64bits os before my request ....

so as a spare wheel, we hope please Vxkex will support for example yt-dlp even if for the moment, there is unofficial yt-dlp for windows 7 os 32 bits offered by Mr Nicolaasjan but maybe one day Mr Nicolaasjan could not compile yt-dlp for legacy os and our laptops will be deprived of yt-dlp .....

otherwise the most important request please is the official support of coc coc browser, famous web browser is coc coc browser has an internal rare media parser downloader and supports downloading video/audio from youtube, downloading embedded complexstreaming videos hls m3u8, support playback video while downloading......so even if yt-dlp or media -downloader do not work anymore in windows 7, coc coc browser is the ultimate solution please to save our laptops from destruction, I have recently heard some users can no longer download from YouTube using yt-dlp:

@trimechee If your problem is to watch YT videos on a media player, you can try MPC-BE, which has an internal media parser, which allows YT stuff to be watched too. You can choose the quality from the options and also save the video from "File > Save Video As..."
The only downside is they might've stopped supporting Windows 7. If you want to try, you can do so by this link.
Also for your HLS downloading stuff... I found this, but haven't tested as I don't have interest in downloading HLS for now.
You might give it a try to see if it fulfills your needs.

mpc be lag when i playback standard youtube videos, however potplayer doesn't lag with youtube, and i use also potplayer with 3D youtube source plugin to add yt-dlp to potplayer:

The majority of streaming sites use hls format, yes i know hls-donwloader, i made suggestions to fix some problems with some platforms that it can't detect ...live stream downwooader and reently version of cat catch can download streaming videos that hls-donwloader cannot download:

latest new version of kmplayer doesn't lag with youtube and can download youtube videos, mpc hc when i put yt-dlp in the folder istallation of mpc hc, i can playback youtube videos, also qmplay2 adds after my request import cookies from browser feature....smplayer doesn't lag with youtube...
