Steps to reproduce the issue (as an example):

  • Add a costom page to main menu items
  • Make it available only to administrators.

1 month later you decide to change page location:

  • This page should now be located in a space menu
  • This page should be available only to space members.

And then it's a pain to move the page:

  • You have to create a new page in space menu
  • you have to copy/paste the content in this new page. (the content is including more than 20 attached files)
  • You have to delete the initial page and pray the files don't get erased !
  • Then you open the data base. The initial page is still there and you have to pray for it to be erased at next CRON job (without erasing the attached files!)

And one day later the next daily cron job has run:

  • Initial page has gone, but....
  • All the attached files have gone. This means more than 20 files to be reloaded. I let you guess how furious I can be

I have in mind a much smoother way:

  • create a custom page and select the parent menu (or much better: parent menus) after the page is created, in the page configuration.
  • It works this way in my prefered CMS and it woks perfect.

Would this be possible in a future version?
