Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
  • I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

History panel: expanding a single device into seperate entities seems to drop some of those entities. With the current smart plug selected, 4 entities show. If you expand into separate entities, the amount of shown entities drops to 2.

I reported this in beta channel at Discord, was advised issue also exists in 2025.1

Describe the behavior you expected

Expanding the device would give all related entities in the graph.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Go to history panel
  2. select a device that holds multiple entities (any device using the HA mobile app is probably a good one)
  3. Expand the device into separate entities
  4. Observe that entities are missing

If you go to the device page, do you see those missing sensors listed under "Diagnostic"?

For the mobile device: Yes.
For the smart plug: not all of them - also some "configuration" entities are missing.

Removed the milestone because it isn't a new issue and I won't have time to fix it for a patch release. Don't even know if it is a frontend issue. If someone else wants to fix this for a patch, we can add the milestone again
