An application icon would be helpful. Integrating it would be the smaller issue, but some artist would be needed.

Something like a decanter (or large red wine glass) with a PDF logo inside? (Beware of Adobe's rights w.r.t. the Acrobat logo, one would need to check that. Best would be to imitate what e.g. KDE or Gnome do.)

Another idea would be to visualize the decomposition of a frame into its components (header, constant background, content), e.g. by displaying layers in 3D (from an oblique angle).
