Hi Henri,

this might not yet be a thing to hurry with, but in the long run, InfluxDB Fetcher might want to migrate to the new modules [1]. The documentation states that it offers compatibility for both InfluxDB 1.8+ and 2.x:

Use this client library with InfluxDB 2.x and InfluxDB 1.8+ (see details). For connecting to InfluxDB 1.7 or earlier instances, use the influxdb-java client library.

With kind regards,
Andreas.

I don't use InfluxDB much nowadays.
Would you have a try on your side and send a PR ?

Hi Henri,

Would you have a try on your side and send a PR?

Sure, first of all I wanted to leave that here as a note. As soon as I will run InfluxDB 2.x on my machine for the first time, I will have a look at this.

With kind regards,
Andreas.

You may have noticed a ticket about InfluxDB 2 support.
Any plan on your side ?

Dear Henri,

thanks for pinging me about this. I haven't had the chance to look into this topic yet, maybe it will happen next winter.

With kind regards,
Andreas.
