I found out about this tool to check you Github Actions for security flaws and it complains about both of your Github Actions files. It errors out on release.yml.

cargo install zizmor
zizmor .github/workflows/ci.yml
zizmor .github/workflows/release.yml

I think this mentions how to fix the template injection issues.

I can't figure out how to get release.yml working with Github Actions in my own repository. That is why I haven't fixed it.
