Using the flake with home-manager

Is there a recommended way to use Helix from the Nix flake in this repo with home-manager? From my experience with flakes so far, how to use a package from any given flake in your configuration can vary. Should I use this as an overlay by adding helix.overlays.default to nixpkgs.overlays in my config (where helix is the name of the input for this flake)? And if so, does it replace the helix package in nixpkgs, or is it under a different name?

you can add helix as an input and just overwrite the package like so:

programs.helix.package = helix-master.packages."x86_64-linux".default;

Looks like you didn't add helix-flake to extraSpecialArgs.

My bad, thanks I was confused as output has helix but in helix module it is helix-flake.

I was wondering if the nixConfig was also being picked up, so their cachix build would be taken, instead of compiling it locally?
