What happened:

I setup SparkleShare and got stuck on the first setup step because of my email address:

It seems the setup doesn't like TLD's that are more than 4 characters long.

What I expected to happen:

That I can use my own, valid email address.

This happens when:

  1. Start setup
  2. Fill out an email address with a longer TLD (such as .email or .website)

One other thing. Instead of C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ you can also use %APPDATA% on Windows. So you can use %APPDATA%\org.sparkleshare.SparkleShare\logs\ as a logging path for Windows.
