Reduce dependency on MacPorts #18

Some systems might not have MacPorts installed. We also want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to contribute to MacPorts.

Maybe set a url flag? Could become risky though since the checksums might be different compared to where MacPorts downloads it from.

Url flag has been added following e58420f, but with the new python API, I can't see how we can reduce this dependency further.
