I was reading about Web Bluetooth. You might need to enable the Chrome Flag: chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features (Source: https://github.com/WebBluetoothCG/web-bluetooth/blob/gh-pages/implementation-status.md#chrome)

Sorry Linux is not tested. But as @hugopeeters says, enabling chrome flag may work.
