I currently switched from nextcloud to seafile and some major feature is missing:
If you enable autoupload of your pictures your whole gallery will be thrown into one folder.

It would be better if you could enable an option like on the nextcloud app which automatically uploads videos and pictures into a YYYY/MM subfolder.

@poetwang any plans on this?

I’ll explain my use case.
I have 60Gb photo collection on my phone. And I want to setup photo gallery on my local machine to show those photos. But as far as Seafile iOS client puts everything into the same directory, I can’t easily navigate through the photos. What I do now is synchronizing photos to the local machine and then move all the photos to appropriate directories using small bash script. It’s fine, but the problem is that Seafile doesn’t understand that it’s just move and uploads 60Gb of files back to the Seafile server. As far as I use cloud storage provider it’s a bit costly and also consumes a lot of time.

So, it’d be really great to have this feature implemented.

I'm sorry we don't have a plan to implement this feature yet.

Any update of this feature?

It would be very useful in my opinion.
