Control buttons in Xfce Pulseaudio Plugin don't work

The control buttons in xfce pulseaudio plugin are without any function.
I'm on the newest Manjaro Xfce.

The previous / next buttons are not working, this is intended. Is the play/pause button working?

The play button is working, but the pause button is greyed out an doesn't work.
