I use Kindle Reader on my PC. It doesn't store clippings in "My Clippings.txt". No such file exists. When I use the Kindle Reader to export clippings and notes, it only allows export to a .HTML file which you don't read. Futher you don't exactly explain syncing. What does that entail? The Kindle Reader for PC seems to encrypt everything so it doesn't store anything as plain text and only allows the user to export to an HTML file as I mentioned.
Method of syncing
Amazon Kindle Reader
My Clippings file (please attach file that can be used to recreate issue)
