Now I noticed that it does work after waiting some time.

What I did currently:

  1. modified /boot/firmware/config.txt by:
    • adding dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-7inch,invx,invy at the bottom of the file
    • commenting out display_auto_detect=1
  2. modified /home/"login"/scripts/start_gui by replacing:
    • DISPLAY_ORIENTATION=normal with DISPLAY_ORIENTATION=inverted
  3. modified /opt/custompios/scripts/start_chromium_browser
    • added --use-gl=desktop

After that my screen is rotated, touchscreen is working properly, cursor is not upside down and finally chrome is no glitching graphically!
