e.g.

listener = Listen.to('dir/path/to/listen', adapter_class: MyTCPClientAdapter)

This would help implement: #258

Issues:

  1. I think :force_polling => true option would override this option
  2. If the adapter isn't usable, Listen should probably just fail with an error message
